This year, we are pleased to collaborate with the Cambridge Association of Women in Science and Engineering (CamAWiSE) on a Mentoring scheme with SLAWiSE (Sierra Leone Association of Women in Science and Engineering) and the University of Sierra Leone Research Capacity Strengthening Programme.
SLAWiSE, an African regional network for Women in STEM in industry, enterprise, and academia was founded by the Science Resources Africa programme [SRA] in 2013. SLAWiSE has maintained a long-standing mentoring relationship with CamAWiSE from its start-up to the current peer mentoring scheme.
CamAWiSE membership for mentees participating via the CamAWiSE & SLAWiSE collaboration is sponsored for the full period of the Mentoring programme so that there is no charge for the mentee. Participants via this initiative will receive confirmation of CamAWiSE membership and receive all benefits of CamAWiSE members, including three free online events.
